Background & expertise

iPro is an independent consultancy built around three practices: public procurement, retail, and AI and digital transformation. It began in public procurement — advising contracting authorities on complex, high-value competitions and training the people who run them — and has since extended into the commercial work its consultants came from, in retail operations and in the technology and data that support them.

Between them, the team brings more than fifty years’ experience across local government, central government, retail and enterprise technology — from running tender competitions and Capital Works Management Framework projects to operating multi-site retail estates and implementing AI across a workforce of over a thousand.

Why boutique works

Small by design is an advantage.

Being independent and boutique means senior-level attention on every engagement, a direct relationship with the person doing the work, and impartial advice with no hidden ties. In practice, that translates into continuity and accountability from first conversation to final handover.
